Frequently asked questions
What ages do you take?
From 6 weeks to 5 years. The home has one mixed-age group, with up to 6 children and 1 adult.
Can I see the home before I decide?
Yes. Book a tour and come with your child. It takes about half an hour and you can ask anything.
What does a day look like?
Arrival, play in the living room, a snack and a lunch made at home, a nap, the yard and pickup. It's all on the A day here page.
What does it mean that the home is licensed?
That CDSS Community Care Licensing, California's agency, licensed this home to care for a group of up to 6 children. The license number is at the bottom of every page.
How many children are here at once?
Up to 6 children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, with 1 adult. The license and safety board says the same.
How does tuition work?
It depends on your child's age, the schedule and the days a week. Edilia gives you the figures in writing at the tour. Read how it works on the Tuition page.
What if my child is ill?
We ask that your child stay home with a fever, vomiting or diarrhea. The policies say when your child can come back.
What if Edilia is ill?
Her helper Ashly cares for the group that day. If neither of them can, we message you as early as we can.
Do you share photos of my child?
Not without your written permission. See the full answer in the family policies.
How do I join the waitlist?
Write or call us with your child's age and when you hope to start. When a place opens, we call the family that has waited longest first.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Edilia and Ashly speak Spanish and English, and families can write to us in either.
Would you like to see the home?
Come for a tour with your child, or message us on WhatsApp and we'll answer at the end of the day.
